Why does it have two reservoirs for the brake master cylinder? Those floors look damn good! Way better than my MR2 floor repair hack-job.

You absolute rotter! How dare you have rust free floors! I also didn’t know you had a red interior. Looking great man. You ordered a set of shakotan wheels? You’ll have to let me know the size and offset, they’re gonna look great.

Thanks man. The front one is for the rear and the larger back reservoir is for the front. Before that it was a single that operated front and rear. The upgraded two reservoir system was considered a safety improvement when the came on in 67'(I think).

Interesting. I was kind of hoping that it was for brake bias control.

Very nice :) as a UK resident into classic cars, I’m very jealous of the solid floors...

Thanks Alex, sorry but my Z has PLENTY of rust to make up for it!

I ordered one of Dean’s full interior kits. I can’t wait to get it installed! My Shakotan’s are Rota replicas. I just can’t afford a pair of original Hayashi’s. They are 15x6 +15. I’ll post a picture when I get them installed.

I have a better dash out of an SRL that I’m going to put in.

How’s yours coming along?

That’s great man! Yeah real Hayashi’s are way too expensive, and if you’re not gonna race it, Rotas are probably fine for the street. Mine’s coming along really well, I’ve gotta redo the rear wheel arches, they’re all rotten and I’ve cut them out, but I think after that, I’m gonna be driving it!

It may have been a dealer add-on!

“How about Ziebart rust proofing or... OR we spray the underside with a thin coat of phosphoric acid?”
